Alaina has been running Ceramic Workshops at her family’s business (Nob Creek Pottery Gallery) since 2020. Then in 2022 Alaina started branching out to host workshops at festivals including ceramics, pottery, painting, sacred symbolism and nature mandalas.

Growing up in Byfield amongst a family of Artists, creativity has always played an important role in Alaina’s life. Her paintings, pottery and jewellery are inspired by her love of nature, travelling and the human form. As a self-taught Artist Alaina feels grateful to have been surrounded by people who have provided guidance, support and encouragement in her creative journey. In turn Alaina is passionate about creating safe spaces for people to explore their creativity and demonstrate that Art is for everyone.
Alaina is a qualified Social Worker who utilises Art as a therapeutic tool in practice. Passionate about the healing benefits of creating, Alaina has seen firsthand how Art is a powerful tool for self-expression, connection, presence and a window into people’s inner world. Through her travels she was inspired to see how Art, Music and Food can break down language and cultural barriers to bring people together. Alaina views the Arts as an essential ingredient for connecting people and bringing community together.
