Her quirky wit and laid-back storytelling style is inspired by bush poets and yarn-spinners, by growing up with repeats of Doctor Who and The Goodies as babysitters, and her own life experiences. 

Life Experiences that just happen to involve exploding wine barrels, working as a magician's assistant, losing a fight to a baked potato, and growing up on a rosella farm. (No, not the birds.)

As well as her own work in the arts, Jodie is passionate about creating accessible opportunities for others to get involved. She super stoked to be part of the Sandy Krak Reef Festival!!
